Matamaal Foundation
Matamaal has always been more than a restaurant. Through our Foundation, we've tried to make sure food and dignity reach those who need it most.
Fighting Hunger
Every Matamaal restaurant doubles up as a rescue hub. Within a 5 km radius, our teams serve meals to daily wagers, struggling families, and anyone who has no dinner to look forward to at night. Today, this work continues across Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida & Pune.
Empowering Farmers
We have worked closely with over 250+ Kashmiri saffron farmers — training them on hygiene, sanitation, and better growing techniques. Farmers are the backbone of what we do, and their upliftment remains at the heart of our mission.
Supporting Artisans
Generations of Kashmiri artisans have preserved crafts so intricate, yet so fragile. Many of these arts are dying out. Through our network, we connect them with international buyers so they and their families can continue their craft with dignity.
